Brooke & Nathaniel { Wedding | Whitefish, Montana }

When Brooke booked me as her wedding photographer for her July wedding at the Grouse Mountain Lodge, I was so excited! Whitefish, Montana is the absolute perfect place to have a wedding! The town is so charming and there isn't a bad view in sight. I had been wanting to do a wedding at this location for a while now and knew it was going to be amazing. Brooke had been living in North Dakota up until a couple weeks before the wedding and I am amazed with how great her and the family pulled together all of the details. Their colors were pink and blue and the decorations were vintage chic. As you can see it was absolutely gorgeous!

The weather was perfect for their special day. A lot of friends and family had traveled from North Dakota to join in the festivities. My second shooter and I really enjoyed getting to know each side of the family. Working with such awesome people really makes the job feel like I'm really more of a guest having a good time, rather than working. That is what I love about my job the most, capturing such special moments while having fun with families who have all come together to celebrate two people making the most important commitment of their lives. I am so grateful to be able to have this role in weddings and to see and document their happiness so that they can look back on these memories for years to come.
