Michael + Sarah | Elk Point Wedding

Michael and Sarah are the type of couple every photographer loves. They are laid back, truly excited to just tie the knot and be Mr. and Mrs. Meadows, and they trusted me and the wedding team to take good care of them. When I asked them what their vision was for the day, they said they just wanted the day captured and to take advantage of the beautiful scenery that Coeur d'Alene has to offer. They came up here from the Boise area for their wedding specifically for the scenery. So they rented a vacation home right on the lake for getting ready in, and had their ceremony and reception up at Elk Point. This venue was amazing and the view is breathtaking!

For the flowers, Sarah opted for a less traditional option and I LOVE what she chose. She had the bouquets, center pieces, and boutineers made by Eco Flower Weddings. They are all made out of recycled wood pallets. Hair and makeup was done by Ashley Smit of Embellish Salon. The event was planned by Robyn Bruns and the Red Letter Event Planning team. The food was catered by Greenbluff Fresh Catering Company, and let me tell you.. that was the best salmon I have ever had. Live music was performed by Bill Bozly. Cake and desserts made by Stacie's Cakes..Yes the huckleberry crisp was as delicious as it looks!!

Thank you so much for having me document such a special day for you! I loved every minute of it. From rushing off the beach so we don't all get parking tickets, to decorating my own personal glass with awesome lady bug and kissy lip stickers so I always remember your wedding day! lol! I wish you both the best and please come back to visit Coeur d'Alene soon! I didn't get to spend enough time with your dogs, so I think when you visit you will need to bring the dogs and do a family photo shoot! Take care and God bless!
