Mari + Mercury | Trezzi Farm Wedding | Spokane, WA

Working with Mari and Mercury has been an adventure since day one. We had such a blast during their engagement photos (view engagement photos HERE), I knew right away their wedding definitely wouldn’t disappoint. They picked Trezzi Farm for their venue. I was super excited about this because it was my first time doing a wedding at a winery. This venue is so unique because it combines the feel of a farm with a winery. The food was all made right there, by the owners of the venue. And in case you are wondering, yes the food was amazing. Made fresh with herbs grown right there at the farm.

Mari and Mercury are two of the sweetest people I’ve met. They also used the 3 words that are like music to my ears- “We trust you”. When it came to their wedding day, they trusted me and my vision for their portraits so that their day could be spent just enjoying each other and their friends and family. Which is how it should be! The last thing I want you worrying about on your wedding day is what you need to be doing for photos. Leave that to me! 😉

The details for this wedding were absolutely perfect for a winery wedding. They chose marsala and a light emerald green for the colors, and went minimal with the center pieces and decorations. Because as you will see below- not much was needed with the stunning venue they had to work with! The cake and desserts were done by Lake City Cakes. Flowers by Rose and Blossom. Make up done by Shasta Hankins.

Chris + Ileen | Spokane Wedding | Amber Tyler Photographer

Chris and Ileen were referred to me by one of my past clients, Con Schafman of Chalk Market. I love when I get referrals from past clients, it’s definitely one of the best compliments when someone is happy with your work and passes your name on to their friends. Plus, when really awesome clients refer someone to me, there’s always a great chance that they are going to be really awesome too! This was definitely the case with Chris and Ileen. They had an intimate backyard wedding in Spokane WA. When I first met up with them to hear more about their wedding they expressed how they wanted to keep it simple and more about spending time with their friends and family. The simplicity of this wedding ended up being so gorgeous! We started out with a first look and some portraits in down town Spokane. I LOVE how these turned out! I’ve wanted to do some bridal photos in down town for so long now.

The back yard where the ceremony and reception were held was gorgeous, the perfect scene for a wedding! There were many different settings for portraits all in one place. I love that all of the details were things that are unique to the couple. They used carrier boxes from their favorite craft beers as center pieces. Each table had a different box filled with flowers and party mix. The cupcakes aren’t just your average cakes, they are bundt cakes made by Nothing Bundt Cakes. They had gourmet sandwiches for their dinner made by Brooklyn Deli & Lounge. These sandwiches were AMAZING, I highly recommend them! The bouquet and other flower garnishments were done by the wonderful Caroline Signer Floral Design. Chalk board signs were made by my dear friend Con of Chalk Market.

Kalee + Tyler | Whitefish, MT Wedding | Amber Tyler Photographer

At the beginning of August I had the opportunity to photograph a very special wedding in Whitefish, MT. Kalee and Tyler had been waiting for this day for so long. Before they were officially married, they spent their years of dating long distance. They would travel every chance they could to see each other, which we all know weekends together never feel like enough! I was so happy to be able to be a part of this day and to witness two people who are so in love, take that next step into a new adventure and to get to spend more than just a few days at a time together.

I met Kalee while photographing another wedding back in 2014. She was part of the bridal party for Chad and Chantel’s Polson, MT wedding. It was so neat to not only get to photograph this special day for Kalee and Tyler, but to also get to see Chad and Chantel again, as well as their parents! Nothing better than getting to photograph familiar faces once more!

It was impossible to take a bad photo at this venue. We were surrounded by the most amazing scenery! As you will see in the photos below, the McGough Pavillion is the perfect place for a wedding! Around ever corner was more charm, and more opportunities for stunning photos. It was so hard to narrow down which photos to share! All of the details for this wedding truly reflect Kalee and Tyler. I’m sure you will easily catch on to the fact that they love to fish 😉

I am so excited to see what the future has in store for the two of you! Thank you so much for having me there along with you on this adventure. I enjoyed working with you, the bridal party, and your families so much! I could see how much they all love you and are so happy for you. The light and happy personalities everyone had was so contagious. I love that the most important part of this wedding was the two of you and the people you love. From the details, to the fun rock and roll father-daughter dance, to the guys and their guns. Here’s to many years of happiness, love, and adventures together!
