The snow is melting, Spring is around the corner. We all survived daylight savings and I’m ecstatic to still feel the light on my face close to 7pm again 💕 this is a photo from just a couple weeks ago. It’s beautiful how nature demonstrates how quickly things can change for us.

It’s quite freeing when you realize the unrealis

It’s quite freeing when you realize the unrealistic expectations you’ve been putting on yourself never truly existed to begin with. You made them up. You can change the story anytime.

A friend on Facebook asked “what is the best compliment you’ve ever received?” and one that I always hold close to my heart is that I am a good mom. But there is another one that has had a profound effect on the way I view myself. I had the chance to reconnect with a childhood friend after not seeing her for about 20 years. We reminisced and talked about all of the fun things we did as kids.. we used to spend hours making up dance routines and singing.. and then she said to me.. “I was the most creative I’ve ever been when I spent time with you”.
I’ve always been someone that has wanted to have a positive impact on the world (I am an Aquarius rising after all 😜) but have always felt I was on this search for what that would be outside of the impact I have in my own home. Sometimes our impact won’t be a doing, but a state of being. I’m honored that someone important to me looks back on their time with me and feels they were in a state of creativity and flow. Knowing this has had a lasting impact and I always hope that when people spend time with me, they feel that they too can dream and be creative. Life gives us enough reasons to doubt ourselves, I hope to be a friend that gives you even just a little more belief and chance to be your most creative self.
